VLADIKA DANIEL, IN OFFICIAL RECEPTION FOR PRESIDENT OF ICELAND

Archbishop Daniel of México and All Latin-America was invited to participate in Official Reception Ceremony for President of Iceland, Ólafur Ragnar Grímsson, at Veracruz State. It was the first Official Visit to Mexico by an Icelandic president.

Governor Fidel Herrera Beltrán, of Veracruz, welcomed President Ragnar and expressed his interest in bilateral cooperation on harnessing geothermal energy, fishing and scientific research.

President Ragnar and Governor Herrera were accompanied by their respective wives, Mrs. Dorrit Moussaieff and Mrs. Rosa Borunda de Herrera.
