On the day of Good Friday, on the most sorrowful day in the year, the Divine Service took place, during which Patriarch Moses together with the clergy read Twelve Gospels so that all children of God could refresh in the memory and feel with heart the events of that great and dreadful day.
Scarlet shroud ...
Blood is blurring the eyes of the Son of God ...
"Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do!"
During 2000 years, the souls of God have been crying and empathizing, feeling the great grief and the great gratitude to Our Lord Jesus Christ, who gave His human body for lacerating and outraging and, having taken the superhuman sufferings, made atonement for the sins of the whole humankind, for our sins.
The predicted came true.
The impossible became possible.
Let's bow to Our Saviour, let's bow before His shroud. So that He feels our pain, our gratitude, our love for Him. So that He felt that He suffered not in vain, that He shed His blood and gave His body for tortures not in vain. That there are those, who follow Him, follow His teaching, and build themselves and their lives just like He has taught.
Let's bow to Our Saviour.
