On the Sunday of June 8, Patriarch Moses served the Divine Liturgy dedicated to the Ascension Day.
The souls, loving God feel the great joy on this day. As all has happened like that was written - Lord had accomplished the way of His earthly sufferings and ascended to Heavenly Father.
Before the Ascension, Our Saviour was appearing to people and edifying them with holy sermons. He also appeared before His apostles and appointed them to go to the far lands and bring people the Verity of God, bless them and turn them to the way of salvation.
And today, in this hard time of earthly existence, the human souls especially need the Word of God, the Blessing of God and the saving sermons.
At the end of Holy Service, the common prayer of all the Church headed by Patriarch Moses for the present children took place. For God to bless them, strengthen and help to heal from mental and physical illnesses.
The holy prayer was ascending to God and turned as the Blessing of God. It was seemed like the Heavens were descending to us, shrouding all the present with His warmth and joy.
Christ is ascended!
Let's glorify Him!
