Glory to Jesus Christ, dear brothers and sisters!
Today we've heard about one event from the Jesus Christ's life (Luke, VIII: 41-56), when He walked with His apostles and preached. One priest -Jairus, who served in synagogue, came and asked Him: "falling at Jesus' feet, he implored him to come to his house, or he had an only daughter, about twelve years of age, and she was dying". He heard that Jesus could heal and save. But the servants of Jairus came and said: "Your daughter is dead; do not trouble the Teacher any more." When Jesus heard these words He said: "Do not fear; only believe, and she will be well",- in order other people do not interrupt Him. When they went in the house, where the daughter of Jairus was, Jesus took with him his apostles. We see that among 12 apostles there were the chosen, which He took to the mountain of Transfiguration. This time He took them again: John, James and Peter. Only these three apostles and parents of girl remained during the prayer.
And Jesus began to pray. He began to pray, that the soul, that went out from a body, but was yet near it and was surprised, seeing the body alongside, that this soul by the Divine will entered back into the body. And when it happened, the girl came back to life again. And "He directed that something should be given her to eat". Parents were staggered, but in this way Lord revived her, God returned her soul into the body. There was such a will of God, that she continued her life for the Divine Glory and that the word that He preached from the Heaven became firmly established after Jesus.
All the priests and all Israelites constantly opposed Him. His word sounded in a different way. It sounded in truth, and they killed the truth, they already did not feel it. And that is why, each time it seemed to them that He, as a heretic, preached something incomprehensible.
And here a miracle happened that asserted the authority of Jesus among people. And He continues to carry the Word, preaching and saving people. In other words, not only the healing of this girl took place, but also it was necessary that people realize: "Those who are the God's children, pay attention, - He is the Teacher from God. Listen to him, because there is the God's goodwill in Him, only in Him there is truth, knowing that, a man will go the right road to God, to the salvation!" If a road is distorted, if it has another direction, people cannot be rescued.
Jesus revived this girl from dead. Is it so? He blessed, that the soul entered a body again. But to many He said that they are dead people. And when one of listeners, young man, wanted to go with Jesus, he said: "Lord, let me first go and bury my father." Then Jesus told: "Follow me, and leave the dead to bury their own dead" (Mathew. VIII: 21-22). Do you understand, "follow me"? As if you stay with those dead people, then you will become similar to them and will not know the way to eternal life, will not hear and understand the Divine word, and without it the soul will suffer then, suffer, and search again. As a bird in a cage, wants to take off, and cannot take off. Because when there was a possibility, you it did not do.
At the same time, you should remember, Lord talked in Gospel of John in the 8 part, from 37 to a 47 verse that "you are of your father the devil". Do you remember? He here names demonic the souls that do not save and it is unlikely they will, because they are dead. Do you understand? Though they in cassocks, though they serve to tradition, though they hold whole Churches, though they hold people as though in obedience, but in obedience to themselves, but not to God. And here He tells them: "leave dead to bury dead people, they know how to do it, and you follow me and will get eternal life". As "many are called, but few are chosen"(Matthew, XXII: 14).
As Jesus called another one (Matthew, XIX: 20-22), and he did not want to follow Jesus and told: "How can I do that? My father worked for that, I worked there are so many things, how can I leave that good"? Is it right? And Jesus easy said him: "go, sell what you possess and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me", so sell everything, give it to people and you will not think what to do with that. People will find what to do with that. And you follow me and will get the eternal life. But this boy changes eternal life for that temporal, horned, that bleats, grunts, that lies as gold in his chests, or those stones from which his house was made. He changes that temporal - that is nothing! - for eternal. Is it right?
If there will be a thundershower or flood. Will it help him? No! And he will perish, and he will be dead. Whether floods, or earthquake, or volcano, or a bomb will fall down nothing would happen to him nothing would help. Why to be bound to the piece of the earth, to that material, if your soul came to search the eternal life, in other words, to get to know truth and follow it. He abandoned it.
And many of us would act similarly.
Are you ready to begin to think about devoting your life now to Father of Heaven, who needs the servants here, in Ukraine, needs the true Church? That there will be Angels near you, that you feel them. They will be given not at once; they are gradually blessed, in accordance with your spiritual growth.
As "For whoever would save his life[g] will lose it" (Matthew, XVI: 25), that is who wants to save his life for himself, will lose it. Is it right? That is egoism. And egoism destroys a man; even the health of this person becomes bad. Is it right? It can be nervous system diseases, and diabetes. Or are you ready to give your life to God, in other words, to the Truth, serve to the Truth? We will give our life not to some mystic God. Can we see Him? We cannot. And He is here in Kindness, in Love, even in this heat that now descends upon you, in this grace that cures your souls now.
After a week, we are exhausted, tired, nervous and full of sins and we think "We are terrible, is it possible that God forgives us and loves us? And you come here again, to be blessed and heeled; Angels clean you and heel your wounds with holy oil. Yes? They wash you invisibly, and you go blessed till the time you do some sin. Is it right? Then you are like pigs in that aggression, jealousy or other sins. Be that one person, but not two. Be the one, kind, positive, in other words, be the Angel of God. Fight this black angel that is near you and for this, control your ideas and ask: "God, clean me from the bad thought".
Follow God, because all clever people followed Him. And today Church glorifies them as special saints. It is not necessary to worship them more than they deserve. They were simply good, kind, people that loved God, came from Heaven for that, to return there more perfect. We love them, we ask, that they beg God for us, because their souls are in Heaven.
God hears us from there. Is it right? If we ask: "Pray for me, child, pray for me". And God hears it. And in the Heaven He hears them. Do you understand? Why we do not ask them, because, as the Protestants say, we should not pray to them. And we do not pray to them, we ask them. The request - is prayer. We ask them: pray for us, if God hear you. We have many relatives in the Heaven, in other words we have the roots in the Heaven, and they beg for us, bless us.
And if we give the life to Lord, we simply take off a curse from our family, we go out, as they say, from karma (though they do not say in this way in orthodox Church), go out from family punishment. And we are blessed, because we already begin every day to do deeds in the name of God. For what should we carry suffering, punishment and others things? In other words, we find, but not lose, when we give our life to God. Do you understand it or not? We find Him. It is difficult for us, and He will console us. It is like we have nothing. And at the same time we do not need anything. Though, it is clear, that we have to work, to develop, but the delight is Divine and we feel ourselves very good. Nothing eats us away; we are in calmness, we are in delight, because God is with us.
He was persecuted and you had to be persecuted, but we had to fight for Truth. To work both inside yourselves and outside, to be able to help somehow this poor country to rise from the knees of spiritual slavery - to rise to God, to the Divine light. God gave us his hand, and it is necessary for us to try to give not only our hand but also help other to understand: you see, I give my hand to God that is why in difficult situation I am always quiet, enduring and strong.

4 But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love
with which he loved us,
5 even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive
together with Christ-- by grace you have been saved -- ,
6 and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the
heavenly places in Christ Jesus,
7 so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable
riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is
not your own doing; it is the gift of God,
9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for
good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
Gospel (Luke 8:41-56):

41 And there came a man named Jairus, who was a ruler of the
synagogue. And falling at Jesus' feet, he implored him to come to his
house,
42 or he had an only daughter, about twelve years of age, and
she was dying. As Jesus went, the people pressed around him.
43 And there was a woman who had had a discharge of blood for
twelve years, and though she had spent all her living on physicians, she
could not be healed by anyone.
44 She came up behind him and touched the fringe of his
garment, and immediately her discharge of blood ceased.
45 And Jesus said, "Who was it that touched me?" When all
denied it, Peter said, "Master, the crowds surround you and are pressing in
on you!"
46 But Jesus said, "Someone touched me, for I perceive
thatpower has gone out from me."
47 And when the woman saw that she was not hidden, she came
trembling, and falling down before him declared in the presence of all the
people why she had touched him, and how she had been immediately healed.
48 And he said to her, "Daughter, your faith has made you
well; go in peace."
49 While he was still speaking, someone from the ruler's
house came and said, "Your daughter is dead; do not trouble the Teacher any
more."
50 But Jesus on hearing this answered him, "Do not fear; only
believe, and she will be well.
51 And when he came to the house, he allowed no one to enter
with him, except Peter and John and James, and the father and mother of the
child.
52 And all were weeping and mourning for her, but he said,
"Do not weep, for she is not dead but sleeping."
53 And they laughed at him, knowing that she was dead.
54 But taking her by the hand he called, saying,
"Child,arise."
55 And her spirit returned, and she got up at once. And he
directed that something should be given her to eat.
56 And her parents were amazed, but he charged them to tell
no one what had happened.
