Christ is born!
Let's glorify Him!
Christ is born!
Let's glorify Him!
Christ is born!
Let's glorify Him!
Today, dear brothers and sisters, we have heard the Holy Gospel of Mathew (Mathew ²²: 1-12), the continuation of the story about the birth of Christ and story about three wise men whom met the king Herod and asked where Jesus had been born. He asked them not to worship Him, but to follow them and to kill the King of the Universe. But the Lord saved the Child. He saved Him and honored the wise men with the great happiness: they followed the star and saw the Newborn in the manger. It seems that the King had to be born in luxurious palace; the nations had to come to Him and give Him a bow and bring Him gifts, because they knew who He was. But the kings of this world, the power of this world did not like Jesus even before His birth. Even knowing that He is a Great King that the predictions were about Jesus and about His birth, nevertheless, Herod wanted to interfere into the Divine Providence and prevent Jesus from serving people. And here again the Angel appeared to the wise men and told them to return by another way in order that Herod didn`t ask them about the Newborn. As you see the Angels leaded them all in that situation. And while Joseph and Maria were sleeping the Angel appeared again and said: "Joseph, get up, take your child and go to the Egyptian land that the word of the predictors comes true." And they took the child and went to the Egyptian land and it saved the King of this World, our Lord who was born for us (Mathew ²²:13-15).
And today is the day of His birth. And we have to feel it in our heats that God is born. Why? He came to bless this world, to teach it the Truth and understanding of Eternal life. And when He is born, the angels of the Lord are singing in Heavens: "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!" (Luke II:14 ) . Every time we pray "Heavenly King ..." before the liturgy, Bishop makes this prayer: "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will towards men". This means precisely the reason for which Jesus was born - He came into this world in order to peace be between people of good will.
Among the people of bad will, although they may be brothers or sisters can be no peace. If they are different there will be no peace between them. Only the people of good will, in other words, the God's souls can gather and have common will. People of good will, peace and blessing should be between you. If we are people of good will, we will gather here despite the fact, that there are no golden domes. But it is necessary for us that the domes of God are here, that the Holy Spirit blesses us. And we gather here to fulfill the mission of Jesus Christ's nativity: "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!"
We want this peace to spread between people, in their mind and understanding of the Truth. And that people perceiving this peace, this understanding, this Truth become brothers and sisters, strong and firm. That they pay no attention to the nation or the color of skin - black or white, but that we all are brothers and sisters, people of good will, for whom Christ was born. In such a way His birth
won't be for no reason, then His nativity happens again in our hearts. And it is a great help for us to save the calmness, happiness, love in this cruel world. To save the grace, which we need to save our souls, to be happy and to help other people to understand this Truth, the people who have not understood it yet.
I congratulate you on this grate holiday, Christmas!
Christ is born!
Let's glorify Him!
Angels from the realms of glory,
Wing your flight o'er all the earth;
Ye who sang creation's story,
Now proclaim Messiah's birth:
Come and worship,
Come and worship,
Worship Christ, the newborn King!

Apostle (Galatians, 4:4-7):
4
4 But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his
Son, born of woman, born under the law,
5 to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might
receive adoption as sons.
6 And because you are sons, God has sent the Spirit of his
Son into our hearts, crying, "Abba! Father!"
7 So you are no longer a slave, but a son, and if a son, then
an heir through God.
Gospel (Matthew, 2:1-12):
2
1 Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days
of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the east came to Jerusalem,
2 saying, "Where is he who has been born king of the Jews?
For we saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him."
3 When Herod the king heard this, he was troubled, and all
Jerusalem with him;
4 and assembling all the chief priests and scribes of the
people, he inquired of them where the Christ was to be born.
5 They told him, "In Bethlehem of Judea, for so it is written
by the prophet:
6 "And you, O Bethlehem, in the land of Judah,
are by no means least among the rulers of Judah;
for from you shall come a ruler
who will shepherd my people Israel."
7 Then Herod summoned the wise men secretly and ascertained
from them what time the star had appeared.
8 And he sent them to Bethlehem, saying, "Go and search
diligently for the child, and when you have found him, bring me word, that
I too may come and worship him."
9 After listening to the king, they went on their way. And
behold, the star that they had seen when it rose went before them until it
came to rest over the place where the child was.
10 When they saw the star, they rejoiced exceedingly with
great joy.
11 And going into the house they saw the child with Mary his
mother, and they fell down and worshiped him. Then, opening their
treasures, they offered him gifts, gold and frankincense and myrrh.
12 And being warned in a dream not to return to Herod, they
departed to their own country by another way.
